Jon Allmett, beloved singer and counselor at Camp Sunshine and Camp Kudzu passed away on August 20, 2007 of a brain aneurysm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 25. I am unsure of the time or place, but I'll post it whenever I find out.

Well. I'm Alison. I'm 17. I go to Pope High School in Marietta, GA. I guess the purpose of this site is to connect with other survivors and sufferers of cancer. So I guess I'll tell my story.

I was diagnosed when I was 7, in November of 1997, with large cell lymphoma. It was caught early, and I was on treatment for 2 and a half months. I finished all treatment in January of 1998 and I have been cancer free ever since.

Camp Sunshine is a huge part of my life and I'm very excited that summer camp starts in 6 days!
